Living Room. A comfortable and spacious room where you can bask in redwood splendor. A great place to relax, enjoy views of the pounding surf, or watch a movie. The room is equipped with a 32-inch Sony Wega television, six speaker home theater sound system, satellite programming, and players for DVD's, CD's, and VHS tapes.

Kitchen. Preparing a meal is a sublime experience in Whale Rock's kitchen. Both the cooktop and the 3-tub sink face outward so the dramatic location of Whale Rock can be enjoyed even while poaching salmon for six. The fully-equipped kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner electric cooktop, a side by side GE refrigerator, plus a double oven, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffeemaker and more.

Dining Room. As with nearly every room at Whale Rock, the dining room offers a spectacular view. It's a cozy for morning coffee, serenely beautiful for a romantic dinner, or a playful spot for a game of late night Scrabble.

Master Bedroom. Nothing like a deep night's slumber after a day at the beach. And this lovely bedroom with its king-size pillow-top bed will make it easy to catch up on a year of lost sleep. You could spend all day here though the rhythm of the surf will more than likley lure you back outside. This bedroom comes with its own private bath, a glorious sunroom, and walk-in closet.

Master Bath. The lovely master bath includes his and hers sinks and a walk-in shower with a rain-shower head.

Sunroom. A perfect place for an afternoon nap. A quiet spot for reading and reflection. A temporary office if you absolutely need to get some work done the rest of the family takes the Skunk Train to Willits.

Second Bedroom. We've learned that when two couples come to Whale Rock there is sometimes a toin coss over who gets the second bedroom. It has a window wall with a view that caused one guest to exclaim, "I feel like Cleopatra!" The room has a comfortable queen size bed, a spacious closet, and a sliding glass door with access to its own deck.

Third Bedroom. Equipped with twin beds and a spacious closet, bedroom number three features a view of the coastal mountains -- a nice counterpoint to all the other rooms with ocean views.

Bathroom. The bathroom shared by the second and third bedrooms includes a shower/bathtub combination.

Porch. Late on crystal clear January day when the wind kicks up, the porch is the perfect place to sip a cocktai and enjoy the sunset. The floor to ceiling glass windbreak will keep you cozy and warm.

The Perch. Last but not least, The Perch sits out on the bluff overlooking the beach, Whale Rock, and the mouth of the Ten Mile River. Sit with a glass of wine and enjoy a panoramic view that changes with each movement of the tide and every shift in the angle of the sun.
